Steffen Ringelmann is the founder of Studio MTK, a Montauk based, full-service Interior Design + Photography studio uniquely equipped to transform ordinary properties into attractive, high-yielding vacation homes.
Formerly the Creative Director of a $1B billion dollar Manhattan based REIT, Steffen has overseen the design and renovation of 350+ residential properties, including many of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s most prestigious and historic brownstones. With an in-depth knowledge of the real estate markets in both Montauk and NYC and a value-add approach to design, Steffen is uniquely suited to serve his clients with smart, creative and well crafted designs.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Steffen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art & Media Studies from Vassar College and a Masters Degree in Contemporary Design from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. Steffen boasts a creative mind versed in all facets of architecture, design and residential construction, including emerging trends, methods and materials, all of which informs his approach to both designing and photographing interiors.
